WICHITA, Kan. – As the summer rolls on, former Tigers are competing in the 2021 TBT (The Tournament) in hopes of winning the $1 million tournament.
The 64-team, winner-take-all tournament starts in four regional sites until gathering the final teams in Dayton on August 3. This is the eighth-annual TBT, with the tournament returning to a regional format.
Regions:
--Wichita, Kansas – July 16-20
--West Virginia – July 17-21
--Illinois – July 24-28
--Columbus, Ohio – July 25-29
Two former Tigers are set to compete in the tournament.
John Davis and
Zane Martin are set to compete with the NG Saints starting tomorrow as part of the TBT's first-ever high school alumni team.
Brian Fobbs and
Dennis Tunstall were on teams BeMore City and Paris United respectively, with neither making the final 64.
Last year, each
Four McGlynn and
Jerrelle Benimon competed in the 2020 TBT. McGlynn was part of the Sideline Cancer team, which reached the championship game.
