TOWSON, Md. -- It may be Fall 2021, but the Towson University men's lacrosse program is looking down the line at the 2022 season as head coach Shawn Nadelen announced the team's slate for the coming spring.

"It's always exciting to release the schedule for the upcoming season!" said Nadelen of the upcoming slate. "Once again, we have been able to assemble a nationally competitive schedule. We were able to continue the strong opponents we faced last year, as well as bring back some traditional opponents that we weren't able to play due to the COVID restrictions on schedules in 2021."

Once again, the Tigers will take on a challenging schedule, featuring some of the top teams in the country, including back-to-back national champion University of Virginia.

After limited scheduling in Spring 2021 amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, several historic series will be reignited, including the Johns Hopkins University rivalry, which kicks off a four-game homestand to begin the season.

Towson will play in and host several scrimmages this fall: Alumni Game (Oct. 2), Princeton, Drexel and Providence (Oct. 16) at The Boys' Latin School.

The spring will see a home and road scrimmage for the Tigers, who host Bucknell (Jan. 29) and travel to Lehigh (Feb. 5). 

"We have a lot of work ahead of us to prepare for Spring 2022," continued Nadelen. "We get back to campus on August 30 to start the process together as a team! All summer, our players have lived up to the standard of Towson Lacrosse and we can't wait to be together, as one again!
