Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2022 Home Game Times

TOWSON, Md. – Seven games adorn the 2022 scheduled for the Towson University men's lacrosse as the Tigers welcome five nonconference opponents to Johnny Unitas ® Stadium this spring alongside two heated CAA rivalries.

The Tigers will host an exhibition weekend at Unitas ® Stadium and the Lower Fields Complex this weekend. Towson takes on Bucknell University on Saturday at 1 p.m. followed by a matchup with York College of Pennsylvania at 3:30 p.m. Both scrimmages will be at Unitas ® Stadium. York and Christopher Newport will play at 1 p.m. at the Lower Field Complex before Bucknell and CNU meet at 3:30 p.m. at the same location.

Towson opens the 2022 season with four-straight home games in the month of February, including three opponents mentioned in the Inside Lacrosse Preseason Media Poll. The Tigers lead off on Feb. 11 against No. 19 Johns Hopkins under the lights at Unitas ® Stadium with a 6 p.m. start. 

Just four days later on Tuesday, Feb. 15, Towson hosts Mount St. Mary's 4 p.m. before clashing with back-to-back national champion No. 1 Virginia at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19. Towson rounds out the four-game homestand with Richmond at noon on Saturday, Feb. 26 with a noon opening faceoff.

Returning from a quick trip to Loyola (March 2), the Tigers take on another local foe in UMBC, set for a noon showdown at Unitas ® Stadium on Saturday, March 5. 

The Tigers' pair of Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) games at home sees a heavyweight bout with UMass on Saturday, April 9 at noon before rounding out the regular season on Saturday, April 30 against Hofstra. The season finale is slated for a noon start.

Single-game adult ticket prices are $10 per ticket while youth tickets (ages 5-17) and senior tickets (65 years and older) are set at $8 per ticket.

Towson will host seven games at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium this spring, including two Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tilts and a clash with the two-time reigning national champion, University of Virginia.

Season tickets are also still available for the 2022 season. Season ticket prices have been set at $40 for adults, $25 for youth (ages 5-17) and $25 for seniors (65 years or older). All seating at Johnny Unitas ® Stadium for men's lacrosse is general admission on the north side of the Stadium.
