FAIRFAX, Va. —Deborah Gnoumou of the Towson Univeristy indoor track & field team placed fourth in the pentathlon at George Mason's Patriot Games on Friday afternoon.
The freshman recorded a personal best of 9.03 in the 60 meter hurdles, placing second overall in the event. She followed up with another second place finish in the high jump with a height of 1.59 meters. She secured a throw of 8.32 meters in the shot put to place sixth and a mark of 5.00 meters in the long jump to take third overall.
The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 29 to finish out their time at the Patriot Games.
