PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Towson University track & field team completed day two of competition at the 130th Penn Relays, highlighted by a program-record performance from an all-freshman 4x200m relay team and a qualifying run in the 4x400m.
Field Events
Senior Kiara Murray placed 25th in the triple jump with a mark of 11.50m.
Freshman Sierra Swangin tied for 20th in the pole vault, clearing 1.65m.
Track Events
The all-freshman 4x200m relay team of Jaylynn Dorsey, Brianna Easley, Bianca Durant and Kadidja Ouattara finished seventh overall with a time of 1:35.41. The mark set a new program record, surpassing the previous standard set in 2023.
In the 4x400m relay, Qiora Rollins, Mydison Britton, Baara Stewart and Jaylynn Dorsey combined for a time of 3:42.99, placing first overall and advancing to the finals. The race is scheduled for 5:20 p.m. tomorrow.
