PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Towson University track & field team opened competition at the 130th Penn Relays on Thursday, beginning a three-day meet at the University of Pennsylvania. The Tigers competed in both the College Women's Hammer Throw and the College Women's Hammer Throw Championship.
In the College Women's Hammer Throw, junior Olamide Enajekpo placed third overall with a throw of 56.24m, the sixth-best mark in program history.
Sophomore Denise Kamgaing competed in the College Women's Hammer Throw Championship, finishing 13th with a mark of 54.40m.
