TOWSON, Md. – Towson University track and field head coach
Consandria Walker-Hall has announced the indoor campaign for the 2022-23 season.
"Our women have been working hard during fall training," Walker-Hall said. "I'm looking forward to having a successful season."
Walker-Hall will lead her first indoor season with Towson with ten meets, including the NCAA and ECAC championships.
The Tigers will begin the season with the Boston University Season Opener on Dec. 3, hosted by Boston University.
The team will take a short break before returning to action on Jan. 14, heading to Staten Island to participate in the Penn 10 Team Select.
The following weekend the Tigers will travel to Bucknell University for the Gulden Invite on Jan. 21.
The Black and Gold will spend back-to-back weekends at Penn State, attending the National Open on Jan. 27-28 and the Skyes & Sabock Challenge on Feb. 4. Both meets will be hosted by the Nittany Lions.
On Feb. 10 the team will return to Boston University for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
To close out the regular season the Tigers will head back to Lewisburg for the Penn State Tune-up on Feb. 17, hosted by Penn State. Junior
Alison Betler won the unseeded mile at last year's event with a time of 5:15.83 while
Christina Marion won the triple jump with a mark of 11.31 meters.
CAAs will kick off champion season, taking place on Feb. 22-23 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
The following week the team will head back to Boston University to compete in the ECAC Championships on Mar. 3-4. The Black & Gold found success at this event last year, placing fourth out of 21 teams.
Towson will wrap up the indoor season with NCAA Championships. The meet will take place from March 7-10 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Tigers will be hosting the Towson Spring Open, an outdoor meet from March 31 – April 1
st. More information on the event as well as the rest of the outdoor season schedule will be released at a later date.
