TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team falls 73-71 to the Memphis Tigers in heartbreaking fashion. Towson jumped out to an early lead, but Memphis fought back and won on a tip-in as time expired.   
 
Quinzia Fulmore and Skye Williams led Towson with 14 points each for the second straight game. Kylie Kornegay-Lucas filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and one steal.

• Skye Williams shot 77.8% from the floor as the Tigers shot a season-high 48.3%.
• Towson forced 14 turnovers and scored 17 points off them.

• Nelson hit an elbow jumper to give Towson the lead with 1:11 remaining.
• Memphis responded with a Griggs jumper to tie the score at 71.
• Towson had a chance to take the lead, but Anumgba's jumper was blocked by Jada Wright, who grabbed the rebound.
• Memphis came out of the timeout and missed the jump shot, but Wright tipped the rebound in as time expired to win the game 73-71.
