WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Towson University women's tennis team fell to Charleston in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play, 7-0.
"We came out and played much better doubles today and had great chances for singles matches No. 4- No. 6," said head coach Jamie Peterson. "Overall, a much improved adjustment to outdoor tennis."
The Tigers fought in all three doubles matches but the Cougars ultimately emerged with the point to start the match.
Sarah Pospischill (No. 4) and Olivia Rothfeld (No. 6) each took a set in their singles matches, but it wasn't enough as CofC came away with victories on all six courts to secure the 7-0 win.
