TOWSON, Md. – Former Towson University men's basketball player Alex Gavrilovic will continue his professional career in Belgium, signing a contract with Belfius Mons-Hainaut for the 2022-23 season.
This will be the eighth straight professional season for Gavrilovic. This past year, he played for CSM Oradea in Romania, averaging 9.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, shooting 66% inside the arc and 40.6% from three-point range. He helped the team compete in the FIBA Europe Cup and the Romania-Cup.
Belfius Mons-Hainaut competes in the city of Mons in southern Belgium. The team competes in the BNXT League with teams in Belgium and the Netherlands.
After playing at Dayton, Gavrilovic competed for Towson during the 2014-15 season, finishing the year with 162 points and 120 rebounds. He previously played for the U20 French National Team.
