TOWSON, Md. – Former #1 recruit in the nation and two-time Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year
Kerrigan Miller has joined the Towson University women's lacrosse team as an assistant coach, announced on Friday.
Miller, a former standout at USC and North Carolina, comes to Towson after spending last year as a graduate assistant and director of operations for the undefeated national champion Tar Heels.
"I'm so excited to be a part of the Towson Women's lacrosse program!" said Miller. "I've witnessed the remarkable growth and success this program has achieved over the past years. It's an honor to get to work alongside Sonia and Mike and I'm eager to help the team continue on its trend toward becoming an elite, top tier program."

Sonia LaMonica. "She gained invaluable experience this past season helping coach UNC to a national championship. She is someone who I think is a perfect role model for our student-athletes. I'm excited to have her energy and passion as part of our coaching staff as we work to smash through new barriers as a program."
Miller spent the 2021 season with UNC, helping the Tar Heels earn a trip to Championship Weekend in Towson. Starting all 21 games in the UNC midfield, Miller notched 21 goals and 41 draw controls, helping the team to a 20-1 record. She stayed on the team as the graduate assistant in 2022, helping UNC go 22-0 with a 66.6% draw control win rate.
Currently, Miller is playing professionally in Athletes Unlimited and has been a member of the USA Women's Senior National Training Team the past two years.
Previous to UNC, Miller was the #1 recruit in the nation in the high school class of 2016, heading to USC. There she earned 2018 and 2019 Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year, 2019 Pac-12 Tournament MVP and 2017 MPSF Freshman of the Year, twice being named an All-American. Leading USC to the 2019 Pac-12 Tournament and regular season title, Miller tallied 104 goals, 120 caused turnovers, 158 grounds balls and 157 draw controls in her career for the Women of Troy.
Miller earned her undergraduate degree at USC in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications, minoring in sports media industries. She earned her Master's Degree in sport administration from North Carolina in 2022.
