TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's lacrosse team is getting ready for the 2023 campaign. Before the year begins, the athletics department has announced several promotions for the 2023 home slate.

Towson's home opener vs. Saint Joseph's on Feb. 18 at 12 p.m. will be Black History Month recognition, including recognizing Charm City Youth Lacrosse and former Towson players.
On March 1, Towson will play rival Loyola at 6 p.m. It is Hometown Heroes night as Towson will honor fire, police and EMS first responders. Towson will wear specialized jerseys for the game; stay tuned for more details.
Military Appreciation Day is set for March 25 at noon. Several groups, including Shootout for Soldiers, Soldiers to Sideline and the Maryland National Guard among others will be honored for the contest.
Towson's game vs. Denver on April 13 at 7 p.m. will be Youth Night. Youth lacrosse groups are invited to see this contest; contact the Towson ticket office for more details.
Two days later, Towson will have Senior Day in the team's first-ever game vs. Hampton at noon. Towson's senior class will be recognized for its service to the program.
In the regular season finale vs. Delaware on April 29 at noon, Towson will have Alumni Day, inviting all former Tigers back to Unitas. In addition, the recipient of the Joseph Ferrante Memorial Scholarship will be announced.
