Johnston’s 24 Points Guide Towson to Victory Over George Washington

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted the George Washington Revolutionaries on Wednesday afternoon in the annual STEM game. The Tigers (6-1) knocked off the Revolutionaries (4-5) 68-60 in front of over 2,000 people.
 
India Johnston finished with a career-high 24 points on 8-of-12 (66.7%) shooting while Kylie Kornegay-Lucas added ten points, nine rebounds and four assists.

  • Towson shot a season-best 44.4% from behind the arc, going 8-of-18.
  • The Tigers totaled 11 steals and have finished the last three games with double-digit steals.
  • Towson had a season-high 30 points off the bench.
  • Nya Robertson led George Washington with 30 points, shooting 12-of-23 (52.2%) from the field and added nine rebounds.
