ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Select swimmers from the Towson University men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed at the Navy Long Course Time Trials in Annapolis, Md. on Friday.
 
No team scores were recorded in the long course meter format meet.
 
Evening Session Highlights:

• Stephen McDonald placed fifth in the 200 free with a time of 1:57.35.
• Ally Frame placed second in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.36. That time stands as the program long course meter (LCM) record. Janine Murphy took third (1:05.88).
• Sean Colson took fourth in the 100 back (58.77). Reed Sells (59.61) and Evan Bota (1:01.57) placed sixth and seventh respectively.
• Tiffany Matulis clocked in at 1:12.72 in the 100 breast for a second-place finish.
• Bridget Thomas clocked in at 4:35.57 in the 400 free.
• Samantha Casolo won the 100 fly with a time of 1:02.90.
• Brian Benzing took second in the 100 fly (54.31). Benjamin Eischeid took seventh (56.32).
• David Walton finished second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.90.
• Luke Schwar took fifth place in the 50 free (23.57). Daniel McLaughlin finished seventh (23.92).

 
On Deck:
Towson's men's team is set to host the Navy Midshipmen Jan. 6 at Burdick Pool. Diving is scheduled for 10 a.m. Swimming will follow at noon. Both squads follow that with a dual meet against the Howard Bison on January 15 in Washington, D.C.
