TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team welcomed rival Delaware to SECU Arena on Friday night. The Tigers (13-8, 7-3 CAA) were victorious against the Blue Hens 67-65 after a couple of late free throws by Kylie Kornegay-Lucas.
 
Kornegay-Lucas led Towson with 17 points and nine rebounds with four steals, while Quinzia Fulmore registered her fifth double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

• Towson went 18-for-18 from the free throw line, making eight in the fourth quarter.
• The Tigers held the Blue Hens to 22.2% from the field in the fourth quarter.

• Skye Williams hit an early three to give Towson an early lead as both teams traded baskets to open the first quarter.
• Kylie Kornegay-Lucas had back-to-back steals and baskets to give Towson a 16-9 lead late in the first.

• The Tigers started the second quarter with a 7-3 run to take their largest lead of the game at 26-15.
• Delaware responded with a 10-3 run to cut the deficit to four with 3:06 remaining in the second.

• The Blue Hens jumped out to an early lead, but the Tigers countered with a 10-0 run to have a 63-57 advantage with 5:14 left.
• Delaware chipped away at the lead, tying the score at 65 with 59 seconds remaining.
• Kornegay-Lucas got fouled after driving to the basket with 14 seconds left and made both free throws.
• Mays-Prince got a look with two seconds left, but the shot came up short.
