Towson Women's Basketball Downed by Buzzer Beater against Hofstra

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced off against the Hofstra Pride on Thursday night. The Tigers (13-9, 7-4 CAA) drop a heartbreaker to the Pride as Brandy Thomas hits a three-pointer at the buzzer to edge Towson.
 
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas led Towson with 13 points and six rebounds, four steals and three assists. Anissa Rivera had 11 points and seven rebounds while Alexia Nelson finished with 11 points.

  • Towson forced 17 turnovers, including 11 steals.
  • The Tigers allowed a season-high 48 rebounds.
