Towson Swimming Concludes Day Two of CSCAA National Invitational Championship
 
TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University swimming team completed day two of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championship in Elkhart, Indiana.
 
The finals session's first event was the men's 200 medley relay. Reed Sells, Daivd Walton, Noah Diacumakos and Daniel McLaughlin finished 18th overall in the event with a 1:29.63.
 
The women's 200 medley followed with Ally Frame, Tiffany Matulis, Maddie Frick and Claire Ryland taking 22nd place with a 1:42.58.
 
Ryan Bookstein tied for 29th place in the 400 IM in the preliminary session with a 4:00.41. Kirill Pankov (4:04.84) and Ian Hewett (4:07.28) placed 37th and 39th respectively.
 
Samantha Casolo took the 42nd spot in the 100 butterfly, clocking in at 55.68.
 
In the 200 free, TJ Bearor clocked in at 1:40.40, good for 54th place. McLaughlin and Like Schwar weren't far behind in 59th (1:40.93) and 63rd (1:40.97) respectively.
 
Diacumakos' 54.96 finished 29th in the 100 breast. Patrick Flint tied for 39th with a 55.87. Walton finished 51st with a 56.43.
 
On the women's side, Matulis' 1:03.69 in the event placed 43rd.
 
Reed Sells took 33rd in the 100 back, clocking in at 49.90. Bota placed 51st (51.02).
 
For the women, Ally Frame took bronze in the 100 back with a 53.64, less than half a second off her season-best time at the CAA Championships. Janine Murphy tied for 39th with a 56.12.
 
The 800 free relay capped the night, Walton, Bookstein, Bearor, Flint finished 19th with a 6:44.13.
 
On the women's side, Bridget Thomas, Lizzy Jones, Laura Gaffney and Britney Denny took 30th with a 7:39.40.
 
After day two's results, the women stand in 21st place with 89.5 point. The men's team is in 26th place with 90.5 points.
 
On Deck for Towson:
The CSCAA National Invitational Championship continues tomorrow with preliminary swims starting at 9:30 a.m. and the day's finals session scheduled for 6 p.m.
