TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced off against the #4 William & Mary Tribe on Saturday afternoon. The Tribe got out to a 13-point lead, but the Tigers shot 55.2% in the second half to complete the comeback and win 76-59. Towson advances to its second-ever CAA Tournament final with the previous time occurring in 2019.
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas led Towson with 21 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists while
Patricia Anumgba and
Quinzia Fulmore each finished with 15 points.

- Towson cut the deficit down to eight, but the Tribe responded with an 8-3 run to gain their largest lead of the game at 32-19.
- Patricia Anumgba and Skye Williams each drained last-second jumpers to give the Tigers some momentum going into the locker room trailing 32-24.
- Towson opened the third with a 10-4 run to cut the deficit to two.
- The teams went back and forth, then Towson tied the game at 41 on a Quinzia Fulmore and-one midway through the third.
- The Tribe made consecutive baskets including a three-pointer to have a five-point edge, but the Tigers tied the score at 48 after a 7-2 run heading into the fourth.
- India Johnston's three-pointer gave Towson its first lead of the game to start the fourth.
- The Tribe cut the lead to one, but Johnston nailed another big three to give the Tigers some breathing space.
- Kornegay-Lucas sparked a 14-2 run to take control of the game deep in the fourth quarter.
- The Tigers iced the game with free throws and a layup to advance to the CAA Championship for the second time in program history.
