TOWSON, Md. – Towson University Women's Lacrosse's senior midfielder
Blair Pearre received All-Region honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Wednesday afternoon.
Pearre was named to the Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team for the second time in her career. Pearre is now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2023 All-American teams on May 25. 128 student-athletes were selected to a regional team.
The senior midfielder earned All-CAA First Team for the third consecutive season after playing in every game this season. Pearre has accumulated the third most points for the Tigers this season with 51. The Pikesville, Maryland native finished second on the team with 39 goals including a five-goal performance in Towson's 15-14 double-overtime victory over Vanderbilt. The two-way midfielder led the Tigers in ground balls with 44 while adding 16 caused turnovers, the second most on the team. Pearre ranked third on the squad with 51 draw controls, which included a nine-draw control performance against William & Mary. She scored in 15 games and totaled nine hat tricks throughout the season.
