MONTREAL – Towson men's basketball completed a second half comeback against the University of Quebec at Montreal on Sunday in a 69-57 win.
Messiah Jones led the charge for the Tigers with 23 points.

Tomiwa Sulaiman also hit double figures with 13 points adding a team-high six rebounds.

How It Happened:
- Messiah Jones got things started with a backdoor layup on the first possession of the game.
- UQAM would put together a 6-0 run to take an 8-5 lead, forcing a Tiger timeout just minutes later.
- Messiah Jones would put the Tigers back in front with five straight points to make it 14-9 Towson.
- The Citadins would hold the Tigers scoreless over the last three minutes to take a 20-19 lead after the first.
- Jones would break the scoring drought with a tough putback off a Tiger miss.
- Towson would continue to fight back. Christian May would drill a three and Tyler Tejada would hit a layup to put Towson back in front by one.
- The Tigers would trail 37-32 at halftime. Messiah Jones led the Tigers in the first half with 15 points. Tyler Tejada and Tomiwa Sulaiman each chipped in four points.
- Towson opened the third quarter on fire, retaking the lead after a Sulaiman turnaround layup.
- UQAM would cut the Tiger lead to three, but a good closeout from Chase Paar at the end of the quarter quarter kept the Tigers in front.
- UQAM would hold the Tigers scoreless to start the fourth, but a Sulaiman three ended the drought and gave the Tigers the lead back.
- Christian May would provide the dagger with a corner three with two minutes to go as the Tigers would go on for a 69-57 win against UQAM on Sunday.
