MOBILE, Ala. – For the second straight year, Towson University defensive lineman
Jesus Gibbs has been selected to the Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List, announced on Wednesday.
Gibbs earns a spot on the Reese's Senior Bowl Watchlist for the second time, being on the 2022 watch list as well. Gibbs is one of seven Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) players and 720 overall players to make the watchlist.
The Reese's Senior Bowl will have its 75
th annual game on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 in Mobile, Alabama. According to its mission statement, the bowl has had at least 100 players drafted into the National Football League (NFL) each of the past three years.
In July, Gibbs also earned a place on the 2024 Shrine Bowl 1000, solidifying him as one of the top NFL prospects in the country.
The 2022 All-CAA Second Team defensive lineman has played 24 games in his Towson career, standing with 69 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss and seven sacks. Last year, he led all Towson defensive linemen with 44 tackles and seven quarterback hurries.
Gibbs and the Towson Tigers will begin the season on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Maryland.
