TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming & diving coaching staff has added assistant coach Susie Cadigan ahead of the 2023-24 season, head coach
Anthony Bruno announced Wednesday afternoon.
Cadigan joins Towson after graduating summa cum laude from UMBC in May 2023 with a degree in biology. She was an active participant of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a member of the women's swimming & diving team. As a senior, she was a team captain and earned the most outstanding athlete team award for the women's team. She has coached in the Central Maryland Swim League since June 2021 and has prior experience assisting at the club level.
"Susie's energy and experience as a student-athlete will benefit our program tremendously. She has great swimming history in her family. Her brother swam for Navy and her dad is a long-time coach in the Baltimore area. Her deep-rooted ties to the area will be beneficial in recruiting. I'm looking forward working with Susie as we continue to build one of the top mid-major programs in the country," coach
Anthony Bruno added.
