TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team has released its 2024 schedule in the inaugural year of head coach Kristen Carr. 

The 2024 schedule will consist of 16 regular season games, with seven occurring at Tiger Field, two at Johnny Unitas® Stadium and seven on the road. Campbell joins the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) this season after playing in the Big South.

All games at Tiger Field will be free to all who attend.

"Our growth this fall has brought our staff joy and excitement for what is ahead. Our spring schedule is packed with former conference champions and NCAA tournament teams. We are ready to attack the moment as a team and cannot wait to embark on our 2024 season," said head coach Kristen Carr.  

The Tigers will open their season on Saturday Feb. 10th at Johnny Unitas® Stadium with Mount St. Mary's. This is part of a doubleheader with the men's lacrosse team, who plays the Mount as well.

Towson will host Georgetown at Tiger Field on Wednesday, Feb. 14th. The Black & Gold have won eight of the last nine meetings including a 13-12 thriller last season.

The Tigers hit the road to face a familiar foe, James Madison, on Thursday, Feb. 22nd.

Towson welcomes USC for the first time in program history at Tiger Field on Friday, March 1st.

The team's next two games are on the road, starting with in-state rival UMBC on Wednesday, March 6th. The Black & Gold travel down the road to face Loyola on Saturday, March 9th. This will be the 51st meeting all-time between these two programs.  

The Tigers start CAA play against the defending champions Stony Brook at Tiger Field on Saturday, March 16th.

Towson hits the road for a pair of conference games starting with Monmouth on Friday, March 22nd, followed up two days later with a matchup against Delaware on Sunday, March 24th.

The Tigers return home for a three game homestand, starting with Jacksonville on Thursday, March 28th. This will be the second meeting all-time with the previous time being a 10-9 overtime victory in 2016.

Two days later, Towson hosts Hofstra at Johnny Unitas® Stadium on Saturday, March 30th. This game is part of a doubleheader as the men's lacrosse team welcomes Stony Brook.

The Black & Gold will wrap up non-conference play on Wednesday, April 3rd against Saint Joseph's at Tiger Field.

The Tigers resume CAA action with a road trip to Williamsburg, Va. to take on William & Mary on Saturday, April 6th. Towson holds a 14-game winning streak against the Tribe.

Towson welcomes Drexel on Friday, April 12th in a rematch of last year's semi-final, when the Tigers won 9-6. The Black & Gold are 39-7 all-time against the Dragons.

The Tigers face CAA newcomers Campbell in Buies Creek on Saturday, April 20th. This will be the first game between the programs.

Towson finishes the regular season against Elon on Saturday, April 27th at Tiger Field. The Tigers are 10-1 all-time against the Phoenix.

The CAA Tournament will be hosted at Stony Brook with the semifinals on Friday, May 3rd and conclude with the title game on Sunday, May 5th.
