BALTIMORE, Md. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed day two of the Thomas Murphy Invite. The women remain in second place and the men are in third place after second day of swimming.
 
Loyola is out in front on the women's side with 2289 points, the Tigers are in second with 1885, UMBC is in third with 1459 points.
 
Loyola leads on the men's side as well with 2452 points, with UMBC in second with 1659, followed by Towson with 1468.
 
Day 2 Finals Highlights:
 

• The team of Addie Scott, Tink Tompkins, Martina Ciriesi, and Claire Ryland finished second in the 400-medley relay with a time of 3:47.26.
• Ciriesi took first place in the 100-fly with a time of 55.32.
• Benjamin Eischeid placed fourth in the 100-fly with a time of 49.41.
• Sophia Cerimele finished third in the 400-IM with a time of 4:29.20.
• Scott took second place in the 200-free with a time of 1:51.23.
• Stephen McDonald finished third in the 200-free with a time of 1:40.23.
• Tompkins (1:03.41) finished second in the 100-breast, Tiffany Matulis (1:03.42) came in third.
• Claire Ryland, Bjartey Gudmundsottir, Scott, and Marissa Kleckner finished second in the 200-free relay with a time of 1:33.40.
• Shannon Parrau won the 3-meter dive with a score of 302.70, Abby O'Leary (236.80) finished second.
• Aidan Clark took second place in the 1-meter dive with a score of 312.40.
