TOWSON, MD – The Towson University Field Hockey team returns home to face the Drexel Dragons in a Coastal Athletic Association showdown on Friday at 3:00 p.m., then they host Colgate on Senior Day on Sunday at noon.
 
Scouting the Opponents:

• The Drexel Dragons are 6-3 on the season and are currently first in the CAA with a 2-0 conference record after wins over Northeastern and Monmouth. Drexel's defense limited a Monmouth team that averages almost 16 shots a game to only five.
• Colgate is 2-6 on the season after losing to Cornell on Sunday, the Raiders are led by Junior Midfielder Grace Schmelzinger who has eight points on the season.

 
Climbing the Ranks:

• After scoring her 19^th career goal against William & Mary on Friday, Forward Sarah tied Georgia Beachley and Joann Engestrom for 9^th all time in Towson goals.

 
Senior Spotlight:

• Sunday's game vs Colgate will be Senior Day for the Tigers, seniors Ella Kaufman, Lexi Bove, Piper Sullivan, Maddie Dalton, and Madisyn Howard as well as fifth year players Sarah Hatfield, Kristin Strijdom, and Shannon Quaile will be honored before the game.

 
Familiar Face:

• High school teammates will be facing off on Friday when Towson's Olivia Miller and Drexel's Phebe Herlocher are on opposing benches.
