FAIRFAX, Va. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up the Patriot Invite with both teams in second place. The men finished with 1805.5 points and the women compiled 1689 points in the tournament.

How it Happened:
For the Women:

• Shannon Parrau took gold in the 1 meter dive with a score of 285.90.
• Bridget Thomas won the 1650 Free with a time of 16:53.58.
• Laura Gaffney (2:03.44) and Britney Denny (2:06.00) came in third and fifth in the 200 Fly respectively.
• Claire Ryland, Summer Bontrager, Marissa Kleckner, and Bjartey Gudmundsdottir placed third in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:23.19.

For the Men:

• Stephen McDonald came in second in the 1650 Free with a time of 15:43.43.
• Sean Colson won the 200 Back with a pool record, Towson record, and NCAA B Cut time of 1:42.60.
• Luke Schwar (44.07) placed second in the 100 Free.
• David Walton took first place in the 200 Breast with a time of1:59.58.
• The team of Colson, Daniel McLaughlin, McDonald, and Schwar won the 400 Free Relay with a meet record time of 2:56.91.
