TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's lacrosse team has released its 2025 schedule in the second year of head coach
Kristen Carr.
The 2024 schedule will consist of 16 regular season games, with seven occurring at Tiger Field, two at Johnny Unitas® Stadium and seven on the road.
All games at Tiger Field will be free to all who attend.
"We're excited about our competitive schedule ahead. Both, our out-of-conference and in-conference games are against top tier opponents. Each game will give us opportunities to grow and compete at the highest level," said Carr.
The Tigers will open their season on Saturday Feb. 8th at Johnny Unitas® Stadium with Mount St. Mary's.
Towson will travel down to the nation's capital to take on Georgetown on Thursday, Feb. 13th.
The Tigers head down to Florida to take on Jacksonville on Friday, February 21st. The Tigers defeated the Dolphins 11-6 at Tiger Field last year. Towson then takes on South Florida in its inaugural season on Sunday, February 23rd.
The Tigers start the month of March by hosting Loyola on Saturday, March 1st. Towson then starts conference play on Long Island against the two-time reigning Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) champions Stony Brook on Saturday, March 8th.
The Black & Gold start a three-game homestand by welcoming Campbell for the first time to Johnny Unitas® Stadium on Saturday, March 15th. The Tigers host Longwood for the first time in program history on Tuesday, March 18th.
Towson continues non-conference play by hosting Princeton on Friday, March 22nd. The Tigers wrap up March by traveling to Philadelphia to take on Drexel on Saturday, March 29th.
Towson welcomes William & Mary to Tiger Field on Saturday, April 5th. The Tigers continue CAA play by taking a trip to Long Island to take on Hofstra on Friday, April 11th.
Towson returns home two days later to host Delaware on Sunday, April 13th at Tiger Field. The Tigers then travel down to North Carolina to take on Elon on Saturday, April 19
th.
The Black & Gold conclude non-conference play at home against Penn on Wednesday, April 23rd. Towson wraps up the regular season on Saturday, April 26th against Monmouth.
The CAA Tournament will be hosted at the highest seed with the semifinals on Thursday, May 1st and conclude with the title game on Saturday, May 3rd.
