WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson University women's basketball team faced off against the No. 11 seed Northeastern Huskies in the second round of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Primis. The Tigers (19-10) defeated the Huskies (10-17) 78-69 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas led the Tigers with 15 points, four assists and three rebounds.
Patricia Anumgba finished with 14 points while
Alexia Nelson added 12 points and four assists.

- The Tigers extended their lead to 13 after an Anumgba jumper, but a Derin Erodgan triple cut the lead down to ten.

- The Huskies tried to make a late comeback with a 17-4 run, but came up short as the Tigers won 78-69 to advance to the quarterfinals.
