WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Towson University women's basketball team took on the No. 3 seed Charleston Cougars in the quarterfinals of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Primis. The Tigers (20-10) defeated the Cougars (21-9) 69-60 to advance to the semifinals.
Anasia Staton led the Tigers with a career-high 16 points, six rebounds and three assists off the bench.
Kylie Kornegay-Lucas earned her sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.

- The teams closed out the quarter trading baskets with the Tigers taking a 38-28 advantage into halftime.
