TOWSON, Md. – Towson men's basketball graduate student Charles Thompson has been named National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 10 Second Team, the association announced Tuesday. This is the second time Thompson has earned NABC All-District honors and is the third straight season a Tiger has earned all-district honors.

Thompson concluded his illustrious Towson career in 2023-24, helping the Tigers to their third straight 20-win season, the first time Towson has had three straight 20-win seasons. Thompson ranks first all-time in career games played (151) and starts (116). He is second in minutes played (3,873), third in rebounds (1,006) and field goal percentage (.553) and fourth in blocks (198). He is one of three Tigers to eclipse 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in a career, having played all five seasons in Towson.

The Fort Washington, Md. native earned his third consecutive Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) All-Defensive Team honor and his third All-CAA award, earning a spot on the Third Team this season after finishing the year with 9.6 ppg and 8.2 rpg.

The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across Division I.  Districts are broken up among conferences, with District 10 encompassing the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).
