TOWSON, Md. – A dominant performance on faceoffs vs. Stony Brook earned
Matt Constantinides a place on the USILA DI Team of the Week, announced by the USILA on Wednesday.
The Towson University men's lacrosse team has had a representative on the USILA DI Team of the Week each of the last three weeks.
Sam Morin was on the team last week while
Josh Webber was selected to the team two weeks ago.
Nick DeMaio was on the USILA DI Team of the Week on Feb. 20.
Constantinides won the first 12 faceoffs for Towson in a victory vs. Stony Brook, finishing at 80% with 16 wins on 20 attempts. The New Fairfield, Connecticut native scored his sixth goal of the season and added five ground balls.
On the season, the junior faceoff specialist has won 58.1%, having 61 ground balls and six goals.
For the USILA DI Team of the Week, players are nominated by team representatives, then 10 are selected by a USILA committee.
