Kornegay-Lucas Signs with Medical Instinct Veilchen BG74

TOWSON, Md. – Former Towson women's basketball standout Kylie Kornegay-Lucas signed with Medical Instinct Veilchen BG74 yesterday for the upcoming season 2024-25 season.
 
Kornegay-Lucas played three seasons at Towson, earning All-Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) First Team honors the last two seasons. She became the first player in program history to be named CAA Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons. She was named CAA Sixth Player of the Year in her first season.
 
Kornegay-Lucas tallied 1,048 points, 611 rebounds, 309 assists, 189 steals and 86 blocks at Towson. She recorded the first triple-double at Towson since 1993 against Delaware in 2022 with 11 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

Medical Instinct Veilchen BG74 competes in the Damen Basketball Bundesliga (DBBL) in Germany. They are going into their second season in the DBBL after finishing tied for ninth place last season.
