TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University Field Hockey team opens conference play Friday when they host the Delaware Blue Hens at 3:00 p.m. at the TU Field Hockey Complex. The game will be streamed on FloLive and live stats will be available on TowsonTigers.com.
 
Scouting the Opponent:

• Delaware holds a 2-3 record on the season, with two of their three losses coming against ranked opponents.
• The Blue Hens have been led this season by graduate transfer Lulu Fulton who was voted Michigan State's Offensive Player of the Year last year and currently leads Delaware with both two goals and three assists on the season.

 
Weekly Honors:

• The Tigers had two players receive weekly awards last season when senior forward Lexi Bove was named CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week, and freshman forward Anouk Westerink was named CAA Rookie of the Week. Both players have scored in two straight games.

 
Numbers to note:

• Towson entered this season having last scored five goals in a game on September 11, 2011, it has now scored five goals twice this season.
• The Tigers nine goals scored this past weekend was the most goals scored over a two-game stretch since 6-3 and 3-0 wins over Georgetown and Appalachian State on October 14 & 18, 2009.

• Both Towson and Delaware have four players from the Netherlands on roster, including both teams starting goalies: Towson's Tessa Scheenstra and Delaware's Cecile van Eijck.
