SASSARI, Italy – Former Towson men's basketball standout Brian Fobbs has signed a professional contract with Dinamo Sassari of Lega A in Italy.
Fobbs most recently played for Telekom Baskets Bonn of easyCredit BB in Germany. The guard led the team in points per game, averaging 13.7. Fobbs shot 42.0% from the floor and a career-best 37.8% from behind the arc.
Dinamo Sassari finished in 10
th place last season, picking up 14 wins. The team was the FIBA Europe Cup winner in 2019 and were Italian Supercup Finalists in 2023.
Fobbs played for the Tigers from 2018-20 and became the first Towson JUCO player to score over 1,000 points since 1978. The two-time All-CAA Second Team guard finished with 1,083 points at Towson, starting all 64 games he played in a Black & Gold uniform. He led the Tigers in scoring in his senior season, averaging 16.3 points per game.
