BRASOV, Romania – Former Towson University men's basketball standout Juwan Gray has signed a contract to return to Phoenix Corona Brasov of Divizia A in Romania.
Gray played for Phoenix Corona Brasov last season appearing in 26 games averaging 9.7 ppg on 65% shooting with 4.2 rebounds. He had a season-high 21 points against Galati.
Phoenix Corona Brasov finished in fourth place last season, picking up ten wins in group play to advance to the winners stage. In the winners stage, the team finished in ninth place.
Gray played three years for Towson after transferring in from San Diego, serving in the Tiger frontcourt. The former team captain finished his collegiate career with 811 points, shooting 45% from the field and 526 rebounds. The Dover, Delaware native helped Towson win a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) regular season title in 2021-22 and was a multiple honoree on the CAA Commissioner's All-Academic Team.
