TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted North Carolina A&T in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play at TU Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers (3-12, 1-3 CAA) held a five-point lead with 1:51 remaining in regulation before a pair of Aggie (8-7, 4-0 CAA) triples gave them a one-point lead with 14 seconds to go. Towson was forced to foul, pushing the Aggie lead to two on a free throw. North Carolina A&T went on to win 61-59 after a final Towson miss from deep.
India Johnston finished one point shy of her season-high, finishing with 21.
Anasia Staton finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
