TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University women's basketball team hosted Northeastern in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) play at TU Arena on Friday evening. The Tigers (4-12, 2-3 CAA) compounded on their four-point halftime lead, pushing it to eight after the third quarter. The Tigers outscored the Huskies (1-12, 0-4 CAA), 30-6, in the final quarter for a 79-43 victory.
Khady Leye recorded her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Caydence Hadley added a career-high 12 points on 66.7% shooting from behind the arc (4-6).

- The Tigers opened the game on a 9-2 run over the first 3:18 before a 6-0 run from Northeastern pulled them within one with 5:07 remaining in the opening quarter.
- Towson closed the quarter with a 3-2 advantage, taking a 12-10 lead into the first break.
- The Huskies started the second quarter on a 6-0 run to take a four-point edge.
- Back-to-back Hadley threes reclaimed a two-point lead for the Tigers.
- Johnston closed the half with two threes on back-to-back Tiger possessions, giving them a 30-26 lead at the halftime break.
- Turner had six of the first eight Towson points out of halftime, hitting three-straight layups including a coast-to-coast steal and score on the third with 6:54 on the clock.
- Shariah Baynes, Jordan Wakefield and Johnston each hit a three through the end of the third quarter, giving the Tigers a 49-37 cushion with one quarter to play.
- The Tigers came out for the final quarter on a torrid pace, going on a 16-2 run over less than six minutes.

- Leye recorded her fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and 10 boards in the game.
- This is the first game the Tigers have had five players finish in double figures since Nov. 6, 2023 vs. UMBC. Leye (16), Hadley (12), Deja Bristol (12), India Johnston (12) and Semaya Turner (10) all finished with more than 10 points in the game.
