TOWSON, Md. – Towson University midfielder Mikey Weisshaar has been selected as a 2025 USA Lacrosse Preseason First Team All-American, USA Lacrosse announced on Wednesday.
 
Weisshaar is one of 14 players, including three offensive midfielders, to earn this preseason distinction from USA Lacrosse.
 
He is the first Towson player to be a preseason All-American since Koby Smith was selected for that honor by Inside Lacrosse in 2022.
 
The junior midfielder racked up several awards last year, including All-America recognition from USA Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse and the USILA.  He started all 17 games in the first midfield, being Towson's leader in goals with 42, adding 19 assists.  He notched multiple goals in 12 games, including hat tricks in the final two games vs. Delaware and at Syracuse.
