TOWSON, Md. – The 2025 Towson University men's lacrosse team is getting ready for the upcoming campaign which starts on Tuesday. Today, the team announced its team captains for the season.

Ray Glass,
Conor Spagnolli and
Josh Webber will don the captains patch for 2025.
"We are excited and confident in the four men that have earned the distinction of being a captain for the 2025 Towson Men's Lacrosse team," said Towson head coach
Shawn Nadelen. "Being a captain requires the utmost leadership, responsibility and sacrifice for the team. These four epitomize those qualities and we are excited to work closely with them all season!"
Glass and Webber are captains for the second straight season while Gallagher and Spagnolli are captains for the first time. Gallagher, Glass and Webber are graduate students while Spagnolli is a senior, with all four being members of the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll. Captains are voted on by the team.
Gallagher started all 17 games on the first midfield line last season, racking up 23 goals and 22 assists, earning multiple points in 14 games.
Glass has been one of Towson's primary SSDMs and member of the faceoff unit the last two years, playing in 12 games last season with six ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Spagnolli was named to the 2025 Preseason All-CAA Team at close defense, notching 34 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers for the No. 2 ranked scoring defense in the country last year.
Starting all 17 games last year in the first midfield, Webber, a 2023 All-CAA Second Team member, had 20 goals, 14 assists and 19 ground balls.
