GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Towson University cross country team is set to attend the 37th annual Aubrey Shenk Invitational, hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday, October 18. This meet will conclude the team's regular season before attending the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Championship.

Last Meet Recap
In early October, Towson competed in the 51st annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University. The Tigers placed 24th out of 39 teams in their block. The eight runners representing the Black & Gold ran an average 6k time of 23:03.9, besting last year's average of 23:22.9. Six of the eight Tigers clocked times under 24 minutes, and all of Towson's returners posted personal bests.
For the third straight meet, sophomore
Rebekka Hillier remained Towson's top performer. Hillier clocked 22:34.7, setting a PR on the course by over a minute from last year's 23:53.5.
Returners
Baara Stewart and
Mari Collick also posted PRs on the course. Like Hillier, Collick also bested her previous time by over a minute from last year's 24:54.6 to 23:44.7. Stewart improved last year's 23:02.7 to 22:56.3.
