TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University field hockey team wraps up its five-game homestand this weekend as the Tiger's host Delaware on Friday, October 3 at 3 p.m. before welcoming Georgetown to TU Field Hockey Complex at noon on Sunday, October 5.
Friday's game is the annual TU Faculty & Staff Appreciation game which honoring all Towson faculty and staff members. Sunday's game is senior day, Towson field hockey seniors

Scouting the Opponents:
The Delaware Blue Hens are 4-6 so far this season most recently defeating William & Mary. Delaware has three double-digit point scorers with senior Iris Bekker and junior Kate Fiest both leading the team with 13 followed by graduate student Alexa Michielsen with 12. Emma Miller and Livia van't Hek also have three goals apiece so far on the season.
The Georgetown Hoyas are 2-7 through nine games this season most recently earning a win over Lock Haven. Senior Sydney Yodh is pacing the Hoyas so far this season with eight points and junior midfielder Izzy Lee is tied for the team lead with three goals. Goalkeeper Ella Fahey has a .750 save percentage and is allowing only 1.33 goals per game.
Week five notes:
- Freshman forward Alaina Lomonaco scored her first career goal in Towson's win over Northeastern and as a result was named the CAA Rookie of the Week.
- Arden Hunteman scored the game winning goal against Northeastern, her first game winner as a Tiger. Hunteman now sits third on the team with six points and is one of two Towson players, alongside Ella Kaufman, to have multiple goals and assists this season.
