TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University field hockey team plays its final home game of the 2025 season on Friday, October 24 when the Tigers host Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) rival No. 12 Monmouth at 3 p.m. in TU Field Hockey Complex.
Scouting the Opponent:
Monmouth is 10-3 on the season and are currently in first place in the CAA with a perfect 3-0 conference record. The Hawks sport the top offence in the conference averaging four goals a game. Lauren Relik, Keely Bowers, Claire Campen and Anna Moors are all among the top five individual point producers in the CAA.
Tiger Notes:
- Dakotah Trader had her team leading second multi-goal game of the season in Sunday's contest against Bucknell. It was the third multi-goal game from a Towson player this season alongside Trader's pair of goals against Lock Haven in September and Anouk Westerink's brace in Towson's 2-0 win over William & Mary earlier this month.
- Both Roos Wiarda and Lydia Bennett recorded defensive saves in Towson's game against Bucknell. This was the first game where the Tigers had multiple defensive saves.
- Towson currently has a four-player tie for the team lead in goals as Ella Kaufman, Anouk Westerink, Rosemarie Staal and Dakotah Trader each have four goals.
Friday's game is the annual Military Appreciation game, the first 100 fans and any attending veterans will receive a free Towson camo bucket hat.
