Indorf Named to 2025 Jerry Rice Award Watch List

TOWSON, Md. – Towson University quarterback Andrew Indorf has been one of the top freshmen in FCS this season, being selected to the 2025 Jerry Rice Award Watch List.

Indorf is the first Towson player to be placed on the Jerry Rice Award Watch List since Mason Woods in 2022 and Shane Simpson in 2016.  Towson's Terrance West won the inaugural Jerry Rice Award in 2011.

The Jerry Rice Award honors the most outstanding freshman in FCS play each year.  A future National Football League (NFL) Hall of Fame honoree, Rice was a two-time All-American at Mississippi Valley State before his 13-time Pro Bowl career.

Indorf is one of 22 players across FCS to be selected to the 2025 Jerry Rice Award Watch List, including one of seven quarterbacks and one of four players from the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).

The true freshman from Florida has started all seven games at quarterback for Towson, having a 61.9% completion rate for 1,458 yards, nine touchdowns and just three interceptions.  He has thrown over 230 yards in three games and is a two-time CAA Rookie of the Week.

The 2025 Jerry Rice Award recipient will be announced on Dec. 3 and honored at the Stats Perform National Awards Show on Jan. 3 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Towson heads to Long Island on Saturday, Oct. 25 for a game at Stony Brook at 3:30 p.m.
