TOWSON, Md. – The Towson University athletics department today announced that sixteen Towson University men's and women's basketball games during the 2025-26 season will be televised on local media platform Monumental Sports Network (MNMT).
As a member of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), all regular season games Towson produces will air exclusively on FloSports digital with member institutions retaining rights to local linear television distribution.
Coming off its first outright CAA regular season title, Towson men's basketball was picked to finish first by the coaches in the preseason poll, receiving seven of the 13 first place votes.
Tyler Tejada, one of five conference players of the year to return to his school, was named 2025-26 Preseason Player of the Year. Tejada is joined by
Dylan Williamson as unanimous Preseason All-CAA First Team selections. The Tigers have won at least 20 games in four consecutive seasons and have an impressive 54-18 record in league play since 2021-22.
Seven of the 14 men's home games will be on the network as well as the season opener versus Loyola on Nov. 3 at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. The schedule includes three non-conference games and five conference matchups. Three other home games in CAA play are part of the league's partnership with CBS Sports Network.
"We love playing on TV. It is something that we pushed for for a lot of years," Towson men's basketball head coach
Pat Skerry said. "We are extremely fortunate to have this partnership with Monumental. Athletics can be a great front porch for the rest of the university. Television helps you do that – giving us visibility."
Eight women's basketball games will be part of the package, including non-conference games versus Baltimore rivals Coppin State, Loyola and Morgan State, plus five CAA games. Senior guard
India Johnston, who led the Tigers in scoring and assists last season, was named Preseason All-CAA Second Team.
"Linear TV is a prize for us. We weren't always afforded those opportunities," said Towson women's basketball head coach
Laura Harper. "Our kids get excited when they know we are on local TV. We are grateful for the opportunity."
Monumental Sports Network is wholly owned and operated by Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE). The network holds exclusive local television media rights for the NHL's Washington Capitals, NBA's Washington Wizards and WNBA's Washington Mystics games. MNMT is also the TV and digital home to the NBA G League's Capital City Go-Go and the NBA 2K League's Wizards District Gaming as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes content and original sports and entertainment programming. The network also boasts the most comprehensive regional high school and collegiate sports programming in the greater Washington D.C. metro area. For more, visit

The relationship between Towson and MNMT began during the 2022-23 season when six men's basketball games were broadcast and has now grown to include women's basketball, football, volleyball and men's lacrosse.
