TOWSON, Md. – Three Tigers were named to All-CAA postseason teams, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Kale'a Perry was named to the first team,
Sophie Thibeault was named to the second team and
Sydney Lindeman was named to the third team.
"It's exciting that both KP and Sophie got All-CAA recognition as they combined for 25 points in CAA play, and 35 for the season. KP is a 1v1 specialist and Sophie does a great job holding the ball up and getting into the box," head coach Katherine Vettori said. "I'm also thrilled that Sydney Lindeman has been recognized. She is a steady, consistent presence directing our back line."
The Tiger Trio have been stalwarts for Towson all year. Perry led the CAA in shots and shots and goal. At one point in the season, Perry was the only player in the conference to have four goals and four assists. She leads Towson in points and is second in the conference. Perry also leads the Tigers in goals scored.
Thibeault earned second team honors after a seven goal, four assist season. Her seven goals are second on Towson and fourth in the conference. Thibeault played as the nine all season for the Tigers, with a standout two goal, one assist game at Campbell.
Lindeman played in all but one game for the Tigers at center back. She was consistently responsible for man marking the top attacker on the opposing team. In the one game Lindeman missed, the Tigers conceded the most goals they did all season.
