TOWSON, Md. - The Towson University track & field team has released its 2025-26 indoor campaign, announced by head coach
Consandria Walker-Hall Friday afternoon.
Towson ended last season in May at the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Outdoor Championship. The Tigers jumped from 11th place after the first day of competition to finish in fourth place after accumulating a total of 86 points. Originally projected to finish in eighth, Towson exceeded expectations by finishing four places higher than predicted. This finish marks the program's highest placement since the conference's expansion and represents the ninth top five finish in the program's 23-year history in the CAA.
The Tigers will open their indoor campaign on December 6 with a trip to Staten Island, N.Y., for the Youree Spence Garcia Invitational hosted by St. John's University.
In January, the Tigers are set to compete in three meets across Pennsylvania. Towson will travel to Philadelphia for the UPenn Select on January 10, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The Black & Gold will return to the state on January 24 for the Bucknell Gulden Invitational in Lewisburg, followed by the Penn State National, hosted by Penn State University, from January 30-31.
The Tigers will open February with a split-meet weekend from February 6-8. Select athletes will head to Boston, Massachusetts, to compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships, while the remaining Tigers will return to Penn State for the Skyes & Sabock Challenge on February 7.
Towson will close out the regular season at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational, hosted by Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, from February 13-14.
The CAA Indoor Championship is scheduled for February 22-23 at The Track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts.
Athletes who qualify for the NCAA Championship will compete from March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, hosted by the University of Arkansas.Â
