Indorf Named CAA Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year, Nine Tigers Recognized in 2025 CAA Football Postseason Awards

TOWSON, Md. – Nine Towson University players have been recognized in the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Postseason Awards, headlined by Andrew Indorf earning CAA Co-Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Five Towson players were named All-CAA, led by Xavier Terry earning First Team at safety.  Cornerback Myles Brodie and punter Bryce LaFollette landed on the Second Team while wide receiver John Dunmore and offensive lineman Dan Volpe picked up Third Team honors.  Three other Tigers are Honorable Mention All-CAA: wide receiver Jaceon Doss, linebacker Alfred Thomas and placekicker Caden Williams.

For the second straight year, Towson has put at least five players on the All-CAA teams.  The CAA Football Postseason Awards are nominated and voted on by the league's head coaches.

Towson won its final two games of the year to finish 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the CAA.  It is the sixth time in the last seven fall seasons where Towson has finished .500 or better in league play.

Indorf is the fourth Towson Tiger to be a CAA Offensive Rookie of the Year and first since Shane Simpson in 2016.  The 2025 Jerry Rice Award finalist and three-time CAA Rookie of the Week was Towson's starting quarterback all season, throwing 59.6% for 2,344 yards, 16 touchdowns and just four interceptions.  The true freshman had four games of over 230 passing yards and four with multiple passing touchdowns.

Terry earns his first All-CAA honor, being Towson's first safety to be All-CAA First Team since Christian Carpenter in 2013.  The graduate student started all 12 games at safety and finished second on the team with 73 tackles, having nine games with at least five tackles, including a career-high 12 versus Stony Brook on Oct. 25.

Brodie is All-CAA for the second straight year, being Third Team last season.  The graduate student finished tied for third in the CAA with 12 passes defended on two interceptions and 10 pass break-ups, adding 53 tackles and a pair of forced fumbles.  He had three pass break-ups at five tackles in the home opener versus Youngstown State on Sept. 20.

LaFollette has had the top two-year punting average in Towson history at 43.2 yards per punt, leading to his first All-CAA award.  In 2025, the William V. Campbell Trophy® semifinalist averaged 43.5 yards per punt, including 11 punts over 50 yards and placing 20 inside the 20.  LaFollette averaged at least 40 yards a punt in 10 of 11 games punting.

Dunmore notched his first All-CAA honor after being Towson's leader in touchdown receptions with seven, the most for a Tiger receiver since 2019, and receptions with 54, totaling 633 yards.  Having at least four catches in 10 games this year, he also had the distinction of having a rushing TD and a passing TD.

A four-year starter at left tackle, Volpe earned his first All-CAA selection, previously being a 2022 HERO Sports FCS Freshman All-American.  The senior started 11 games at left tackle, anchoring a line that finished second in the CAA in fewest sacks allowed.

Doss gets recognized by the CAA as the FCS leader in yards per reception at 22.7 yards per catch, leading Towson in that category for the second straight season.  Towson's leader in receptions yards with 657, the redshirt junior made 29 catches and scored five touchdowns, having three games with over 100 receiving yards.

In his first year as a starter at middle linebacker, Thomas gets his Honorable Mention All-CAA award after being Towson's leader in tackles with 76, including at least seven tackles in five of his last seven games.  Having a 14-tackle game versus Villanova on Nov. 8, Thomas also had 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

Williams, a first time honoree by the CAA, earned the top field goal percentage in Towson history this year, converting 15-of-17 field goals for 88.2%, being tied for second in the CAA in field goals made and ninth in the league with 6.75 points per game.  The Fred Mitchell Midseason Watch List member also was a perfect 36-for-36 on extra point attempts.
