Virginia Beach, Va. - The Towson University track & field team wrapped up its first day of the NSU Indoor Pre-Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va.
Freshman
Niomi Allison started day one off strong with a dominant win in the women's Pentathlon. Allison set PRs in the High Jump (1.51m), Long Jump (4.63m) and Shot Put (7.23m).
Both
Baara Stewart (5:09.00) and
Lexi Mogensen (5:12.38) set PRs in the mile. Stewart set a Towson record with the 10th fastest mile time in the school's history.
Tatiyana Black additionally set a PR in the Weight Throw (13.46m).
Sophomore
Morgan Lane qualified for the 60m hurdles finals with a time of 9.07. In the finals, Lane finished 8th with a time of 9.17.
Freshman
Nancy Hudson additionally qualified for the 60m dash finals with a time of 7.70, finishing in 7th in the finals with a time of 7.71.
Next Up
The Tigers will wrap up the NSU Indoor Pre-Nationals tomorrow with the High Jump beginning at 11AM.
