WASHINGTON – The Towson University gymnastics team earned its second consecutive East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) regular season title after a second-place finish in the GW Senior Meet.
In a meet with four teams ranked in the top-36 in the Road to Nationals rankings, No. 35 Towson notched a team score of 195.800 to defeat two of them: No. 30 Maryland at 195.500 and No. 36 George Washington at 195.225. Towson's victory over GW secured the team's 4-0 EAGL record for the regular season title. The Tigers were only behind No. 19 N.C. State at 196.675.
Towson earned the top vault score of the meet at 49.225, the team's top vault score of the season, and came up just .025 short of the top floor score with a 49.200. The Tigers also earned the all-around individual champion as
Isabella Minervini had a 39.275.
The Tigers had several podium finishes, including four gymnasts tying for second at 9.850 on the vault.
Clara Hong tied for second on floor at 9.875 while Minervini tied for second on the bars at 9.850.
How it Happened for Towson (in Rotation Order)
- Bars – 48.650
- Needing to help replace a fall on bars, Ava Harper competed on the bars rotation for the first time on fourth spot and hit a 9.750. Polina Belanovski followed with a 9.700, then Isabella Minervini earned Towson's top score on 9.850.
- Beam – 48.725
- Floor – 49.200
- Vault – 49.225

- Towson is a combined 8-0 in EAGL matches in 2024 and 2025.
- Previous to today, Towson's top vault score in 2025 came on Mar. 4 when the Tigers had a 49.125.
- Towson earned its second-best showing on floor this season at 49.200. The Tigers had a 49.225 on floor on Feb. 21.
- Adriana Hoffman and Ava Harper each tied a career-high with a 9.850 on the vault.
