HAMPTON, Va. – The Towson University men's and women's swimming & diving teams completed the final day of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Conference Championships. The men's team placed 4^th with 485.5 points while the women's team finished 5^th overall with 899 points.
 
How it Happened Women:

• Bridget Thomas swam 16:49.52 to finish 4^th in the 1650 Free.
• Marissa Kleckner qualified for the 100 Free finals and placed 7^th with a time of 50.28.
• Laura Gaffney was the lone Tiger qualifier in the 200 Fly and finished 5^th in the event swimming a time of 2:02.16.
• Shannon Parrau took her second diving silver of the tournament with a score of 275.10.
• Addie Scott, Kleckner, Claire Ryland and Bjartey Gudmundsdottir placed 6^th in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 3:23.65.
• UNCW took the CAA women's title with a final team score of 1370.5, followed by William & Mary at 1326.5.

 
How it Happened Men:

• Anthony Mortellite placed 6^th in the 1650 free with a time of 15:44.55.
• Sean Colson claimed Towson's first gold medal winning the 200 Back with a Towson record and NCAA B Cut time of 1:42.48.
• Kirill Pankov took 7^th place in the 200 Breast finals swimming 1:59.65.
• Nicco Gurri and Carson Bauer both qualified for the 200 Fly final. Gurri placed 4^th with a time of 1:47.94 and Bauer finished 8^th with a time of 1:50.14.
• Colson, Daniel McLaughlin, Benjamin Eischeid, and Luke Schwar took 4^th in the 400 Free Relay with a time of 2:56.82.
• The CAA men's title went to UNCW with 829.5 points while Delaware was second at 737.

The NCAA Zone "A" Diving Championships take place from March 10-12 at Rutgers University.
